L.G.F.U.A.D! or not... whatever

Okay, so Motion City Soundtrack just announced their new tour dates this afternoon. They're playing here in January! Yay! I am now officially ridiculously excited. Ridiculously. Excited.

So, while I was waiting in line to see a concert the other day, a girl behind me said a very funny thing. She said that she was a huge fan of Owl City (and it is true, they are a great band) and she was, therefore, really unhappy when she heard their latest single on the radio. And I am... confused.

I mean, I suppose I understand that you want your favorite bands to be special to you, alone. Scratch that, I don't understand that at all. I think the only thing better than finding an amazing new band is telling everyone about them (hence the blog, I suppose).

So, anyway, I just thought it was something to think on. And once again, I come to the conclusion that on the whole, people are really weird.
