I <3 Jake Ryan.

If my life were a John Hughes movie, it would be Sixteen Candles. I'm not cool enough to be Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Just thought you'd like to know.

My Valentine's Mix:

1. "Crash the Party" by Ok Go (To hell with Valentine's, to hell with perfume, to hell with chocolates and picnics and Sinatra tunes)
2. "Heels Over Head" by Boys Like Girls (Now I'm heels over head... thinking how you left me for dead).
3. "Inches and Failing" by The Format (I love love, I love being in love, I don't care what it does to me)
4. "Hate (I Really Don't Like You)" by the Plain White T's (Need I say more.)
5. "Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have With Her Clothes On" by Panic at the Disco (Apparently this song made Brendon Urie concerned about Ryan Ross. The rest of us are not sure it wasn't written for Urie)
6. "The Calendar Hung Itself" by Bright Eyes (It's Bright Eyes. What more do you need?)
7. "Girl Friend" By Molly (No, she's not his girlfriend, but he'll fight anyone else who gets near her)
8. "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me" by Fall Out Boy (She said, she said, she said why don't you just drop dead)
9. "You're So Last Summer" by Taking Back Sunday (You could slit my throat, and with my one last gasping breath I'd apologize for bleeding on your shirt)
10. "The Curse of Curves" by Cute is What We Aim For (Because I've got the gift of one-liners and you've got the curse of curves)
11. "It's Warmer in the Basement" by Cobra Starship (According to Gabe Saporta, this song is about liking a girl so much you want to lock her in your basement and never let her out).
12. "Shores of California" by Dresden Dolls (The girls are crying and the boys are masturbating)
13. "Walk Away" by Franz Ferdinand (Why don't you walk away?)
14. "Perfect Situation" by Weezer (I can't satisfy all the needs she has and so she starts to wander, can you blame her?)

And Antonia by Motion City Soundtrack just might be the sweetest song ever.

Also, it should be noted that the lead singer of the Plain White T's and Delilah have finally gotten together. Gold-digging bitch.

And you should watch the new Panic (!) at the Disco Video. You should also note that by getting rid of their exclamation point, they really just added a set of parentheses. Now, that is some stubborn punctuation.

On a similar note, you should make sure to pick up their new album Pretty. Odd. on March 25, The Hush Sound's Goodbye Blues on March 18, Whisper War, The Cab's Debut album on April 29, A Band in Hope by The Matches, also on March 18, and Jack's Mannequin's yet untitled new album whenever that comes out. Also, you should illegally download Butch Walker's new album anytime now. Because I want to like his music, but I can't manage well enough to pay money for it.

Anyway, my heater is now making a sound like a wounded water buffalo, so I guess I should go. I just wanted to let you know I'm not dead.
